Sr. Technical Training Manager (EV)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Based at the hirify.global corporate headquarters with 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, company events, and domestic and international travel are required. A valid driver's license and passport are required.

Salary: $150,000–$181,250 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrains.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable technical training programs for EV service technicians and technical staff.
• Hire, mentor, and manage trainers and curriculum developers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, service, and product teams to ensure technical accuracy.
• Develop blended learning experiences including hands-on labs, on-the-job training, eLearning, ILT, VILT, video content, certifications, and coaching.
• Create assessments based on Kirkpatrick’s model and use data to improve training effectiveness and speed to certification.
• Manage training vehicles, tools, facilities, learning assets, certification paths, and digital training delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of technical training experience, including at least 3 years in EV or automotive OEM/startup environments.
• Experience building and scaling training teams and programs.
• Strong knowledge of EV systems, diagnostics, service procedures, adult learning theory, and blended learning.
• Experience developing training solutions from concept through production and evaluation, with proficiency in Articulate Suite, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• ASE or OEM certifications in EV or hybrid systems.
• Familiarity with Mindtickle, Cornerstone, Absorb, or similar LMS platforms.
• Experience with mobile-first training, gamification, just-in-time learning, and audio, video, or 3D content production.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or automotive environment.
