Senior Specialist, Technical Training

Salary: $85,000–$114,000 per year, depending on skills and experience

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify performance gaps and learning needs.
• Translate business objectives into scalable learning strategies, training programs, and performance-based solutions.
• Design, deliver, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, blended, on-the-job, and digital training programs.
• Create learning materials, facilitator guides, assessments, job aids, and digital learning assets from complex technical and operational information.
• Lead onboarding, certification, qualification, and skill-validation programs while maintaining accurate LMS records and compliance documentation.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, knowledge assessments, performance data, and business metrics; mentor training specialists and facilitators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, training and development, organizational development, human resources, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5–7 years of experience in training, learning and development, instructional design, organizational development, or a related field.
• Experience designing, developing, and facilitating training programs for diverse audiences.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and performance-based training practices.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and common business software applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, organizational, stakeholder management, and project-prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in operational, manufacturing, technical, engineering, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of change management and performance consulting.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide or multi-site training initiatives.
• Experience creating eLearning, virtual instructor-led, or blended learning solutions.
• Professional certification in training and development, instructional design, facilitation, or organizational development.
