Executive Director (Senior Living)

Location: 70 Pinelawn Rd, Melville, NY 11747, USA; on-site community operations required

Salary: USD 150,000–160,000 yearly

What you will do

• Oversee the community's overall management and day-to-day operations.
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Lead regulatory compliance, quality assurance, safety, and resident care standards.
• Manage community finances, operating expenses, revenue generation, occupancy, and sales targets.
• Lead recruitment, associate development, disciplinary actions, and broader staff development.
• Provide occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty and maintain engagement with residents, families, and associates.

Requirements

• College degree and administrator's license or certification preferred but not required.
• Leadership experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing operating expenses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead a team.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds, including supporting residents.

Nice to have

• Previous sales or business development experience.
• Administrator's license or certification.
