Project Engineer - Customer Stations (Industrial Gas Systems)

Location: Suwanee, Georgia, United States. New hires work primarily from the office or field; hybrid flexibility may become available as proficiency develops. Travel is typically 10–20%, with additional travel during onboarding and training.

What you will do

• Manage concurrent cryogenic and industrial gas delivery system projects from planning through commissioning.
• Develop technical proposals, cost estimates, equipment layouts, process flow schematics, and engineered solutions.
• Coordinate design, procurement, installation, commissioning, internal teams, customers, and external partners.
• Apply engineering judgment to evaluate alternatives and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot installed equipment and systems, evaluate modifications, and identify performance improvements.
• Support safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives across customer, project, and operational activities.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship is required.
• One to five years of engineering experience and an engineering degree or equivalent experience; chemical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Basic drafting or CAD skills and the ability to create equipment layouts and process flow schematics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across geographically dispersed teams.
• Technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, sound engineering judgment, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical codes, standards, and specifications, with proficiency in common business and engineering software.
