Plant Supervisor (Industrial Gases)

Location: Columbia, South Carolina, United States; onsite at an industrial gas filling plant

What you will do

• Support safe, organized, and efficient plant operations.
• Operate equipment for repackaging and analyzing compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders.
• Guide plant operators in meeting customer needs, following SOPs, and maintaining a collaborative workspace.
• Inspect and maintain filling equipment and monitoring devices.
• Maintain production reports, paperwork, training records, and safety compliance.
• Load and unload cylinders and record cylinder types and quantities for deliveries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of leadership experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Experience with compressed gases, gas analysis, gas laboratory equipment, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting preferred.
• Prior SAP experience and intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred.
• Strong analytical, leadership, oral communication, and written communication skills.
