Production Zone Engineer

Location: Houston, TX (HO) - Customer installations; on-site role supporting plant locations

What you will do

• Provide technical support and operational guidance to multiple production plant locations within an assigned zone.
• Design, specify, cost-control, and implement engineering projects that improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Optimize production processes, equipment, facility utilization, and material costs.
• Evaluate field installations, conduct operational tests, analyze results, and recommend design modifications.
• Support plant production, maintenance, DCS operations, and on-call troubleshooting.
• Prepare engineering activity reports and coordinate projects with plant personnel, managers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 3 years of operational or engineering experience.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, project coordination, and cost-control skills.
• Ability to work in both corporate and field environments and under stress or time constraints.
• Fluent English required in written and spoken communication.
• Ability to learn and support Air Separation, CO₂, VSA, and on-site N₂/O₂ plants, as well as plant DCS systems.
