Field Service Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: GB Remote; based in South East England or the Midlands, with travel throughout the UK and overnight stays one or two nights per week

What you will do

• Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hirify.global medical devices at customer sites.
• Perform proactive and preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime.
• Investigate technical issues and provide application support for hospital personnel.
• Organize and deliver application training for customers using installed medical equipment.
• Coordinate and deliver technical training for customer personnel and hirify.global employees.
• Support product demonstrations and build relationships with prospective and existing customers.

Requirements

• Technical engineering degree or technical education with sound technical knowledge, or at least four years of experience in field service, medical devices, or a similar role.
• Strong customer service skills and a confident, professional manner in customer-facing environments.
• Technical aptitude to understand products and train customers and users.
• Excellent mastery of English required.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and stay overnight one or two nights per week on average.
• Computer and basic networking skills, independence, time-management ability, and a full driving licence.
