Field Service Engineers South West (Recycling)

Location: Bonville Rd, Brislington, Bristol, UK; field-based work across the South West with regional travel and occasional overnight stays.

Salary: GBP 32,000–GBP 37,000 per year.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Support the UK-wide installation and roll-out of new recycling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts while providing responsive technical support.
• Travel throughout the South West, record service activities digitally, and manage regional work independently.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures and contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and clear customer communication.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel, manage a field-based schedule, and work occasional approved overtime and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• From October 2027, availability for a rota-based shift pattern including weekend coverage is required.
