Field Service Engineers (Recycling Technology)

Location: Power Rd, Chiswick, London, UK; field-based work across London and the South East with regional travel, occasional overnight stays, overtime, weekend work, and a rota-based shift pattern from October 2027.

Salary: GBP 32,000–GBP 37,000 per year.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, repair, and optimise hirify.global reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Support the installation and UK-wide roll-out of new recycling equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues through preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts while delivering responsive technical support.
• Record service activities, machine status, and updates using digital systems.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures and contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Customer-focused communication, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a field-based role.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the region and manage an independent schedule.
• Full UK driving licence required.
