Field Service Engineers Midlands

Location: Corby, UK; field-based work at customer sites throughout the Midlands and wider UK region, with travel, occasional overnight stays, approved overtime, weekend work, and a rota-based shift pattern from October 2027.

Salary: GBP 32,000–GBP 37,000 per year.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites.
• Support the UK rollout of new recycling machines ahead of the Deposit Return Scheme.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete preventative and reactive repairs.
• Build effective relationships with customers and site contacts while providing professional service.
• Travel across the assigned region, record service activity and machine status in digital systems, and manage the field schedule.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures and contribute feedback to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and clear customer communication.
• Comfort using power tools and hand tools independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel and manage a schedule in a field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence required.
