Field Service Engineers - South East (Reverse Vending Machines)

Location: Poringland, Norwich, UK, with field-based travel across London and the South East

Salary: GBP 32,000–GBP 37,000 per year

hirify.global develops recycling and circular economy technology that keeps valuable materials in circulation and reduces waste. The UK organisation is expanding ahead of the planned Deposit Return Scheme launch in 2027.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Support the rollout of new recycling machines across the UK.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts while providing technical service.
• Travel throughout the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays, and record service activities in digital systems.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Curious, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Customer-focused approach with clear and confident communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a field-based role.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the region, work occasional approved overtime and weekends, and follow a rota-based shift pattern including weekend coverage from October 2027.
• Full UK driving licence required.
