Director Install - East Region

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; significant overnight travel of 20% or more is required.

What you will do

• Oversee major equipment installation projects across the district, including project execution, profitability, customer satisfaction, quality audits, and punch-list completion.
• Develop district installation strategies, forecast resource needs, and create operational plans with regional service and sales leadership.
• Build and manage installation teams of employees, field superintendents, and subcontractors across mechanical, specialty, and union trades.
• Source, screen, negotiate with, train, and hold subcontractors accountable for insurance, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
• Manage technician training, safety programs, fleet operations, facilities, expenses, financial performance, and operational compliance.
• Provide technical installation support to sales staff and customers, including general contractors, and lead resolution of installation-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least 10 years of experience in field service or construction management, including at least 5 years in management.
• Ability to read blueprints, project plans, and technical manuals.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ServiceMax, Salesforce, and related software.
• Ability to travel overnight 20% or more.
