Director, Epic

Location: US - National; regular trips to the hirify.global Home Office in Madison, WI are expected. Travel may reach 50% of the time, including outside regular work hours.

What you will do

• Direct, plan, and develop advisory solutions projects related to Epic implementations.
• Manage, mentor, and develop solutions team staff, including solution-specific hiring.
• Oversee project delivery, client and consultant relationships, status reviews, recommendations, and risk mitigation.
• Support pre-sales scoping, solution design, customized presentations, messaging, and content.
• Develop thought leadership content and educate clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Oversee product development and refine healthcare IT solution offerings and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Healthcare IT.
• 5+ years of Epic implementation experience in a director- or project management-level role.
• Prior experience and understanding of Epic install methodologies.
• Experience leading service-oriented teams and managing growth.
• Strong client communication, solution design, software implementation, time management, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple EHRs, academic or pediatric healthcare systems, revenue cycle, or new Epic add-on modules.
• 3+ years of direct staff management experience.
• Epic certification or prior experience working directly for Epic.
• Experience creating healthcare IT thought leadership content.
