Project Manager II (Electrical Construction)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts, United States; essential functions are performed in a company-designated office or field location. The role may require travel across the country for solar and EPC projects.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations for assigned electrical construction projects.
• Prepare construction schedules, look-ahead documents, progress reports, billing information, and project deliverables.
• Prepare labor and material estimates, bills of material, field take-offs, and cost evaluations.
• Coordinate project personnel, clients, subcontractors, construction teams, meetings, field walk-downs, and change orders.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and report project status to management.
• Support solar, transmission, substation, and energy storage EPC projects, including extended travel assignments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of specifications, proposals, project documentation, the N.E.C., and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software such as Accubid, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
