Proposal Specialist (High-Voltage Equipment)

Location: Hybrid role in Mexico, with the position listed in Santiago de Queretaro, Queretaro

What you will do

• Analyze client requirements, define appropriate solutions, and plan proposal preparation schedules.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, and other stakeholders to collect accurate technical and commercial information.
• Estimate material, equipment, labor, and project costs; request supplier quotations and calculate solution pricing.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, including financial feasibility analyses and project risk assessments.
• Lead technical and commercial discussions with clients during clarification and contract negotiation stages.
• Track quotation status and implement improvements to the proposal development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and high-voltage equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, insulators, substations, and protection systems.
• Understanding of circuits, electrical components, single-line diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience or knowledge in project cost estimation, project management, financial concepts, and risk assessment.
• Strong planning, coordination, prioritization, decision-making, leadership, and technical communication skills.
• Advanced English is required.

Nice to have

• Basic German.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Planner, and To Do.
