Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting (Gaming)

Location: Remote, USA; Work Remotely - Maryland

Salary: $74,020–$136,944 annual base pay

What you will do

• Support the full accounting close process for the revenue accounting system, including configurations, reconciliations, and SOX compliance activities.
• Monitor business developments and partner with finance teams to maintain accurate accounting system setups.
• Execute revenue recognition for partnership transactions and other non-routine revenue entries.
• Prepare supporting schedules for revenue forecasts with the Corporate FP&A team.
• Support internal and external audits and test revenue system upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, including revenue recognition.
• Experience managing system data flows and high-volume transaction data.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, financial data analysis, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition under US GAAP and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States, including Maryland.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite or similar ERP, Looker, OBIEE Answers, Hyperion, or Zuora Revenue Recognition.
• Experience with revenue recognition in the gaming industry.
