Senior Revenue Manager (Revenue Accounting)

Location: Burlington, Massachusetts, United States; on-site four days per week. Travel to other company sites and events may be required.

Salary: $133,000–$166,000 per year

What you will do

• Apply ASC 606 under US GAAP to key and complex revenue transactions.
• Review contracts and offerings, identify performance obligations, and determine standalone selling price allocations.
• Prepare and post revenue journal entries and apply percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Provide revenue recognition guidance to business partners and the global SMS revenue team.
• Analyze revenue data, prepare metrics and reporting, and support monthly financial close and SEC reporting.
• Review SOX controls, support audits, and drive continuous improvement in revenue accounting processes.

Requirements

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 or more years of leadership experience.
• Proven experience applying ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to research, apply, and document accounting guidance.
• Ability to work on-site in Burlington, Massachusetts four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in a listed public company or top accountancy firm.
• Experience with Oracle, Tableau, other data analytics software, or revenue recognition software.
