Director of Strategic Finance (AI)

Salary range: $150,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Build and maintain dynamic three-statement models, operating plans, revenue forecasts, multi-year forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Prepare quantitative financial narratives and materials for board meetings, executive reviews, and investor reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting and establish scalable FP&A and FinOps modeling standards and analytical infrastructure.
• Deploy LLM workflows, custom prompts, scripts, and automation across billing, contract parsing, data extraction, and commercial operations.
• Connect CRM, CPQ, billing, and ERP systems to automate revenue operations and improve real-time reporting.
• Partner with RevOps and Sales on pipeline analytics, pricing, deal structuring, margin analysis, commercial contracts, M&A, capital markets transactions, and compensation modeling.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, BizOps, investment banking, or management consulting, including high-growth B2B SaaS operational experience.
• Advanced experience with revenue modeling, three-statement modeling, operational modeling, SaaS metrics, and executive-level financial storytelling.
• Hands-on experience architecting finance technology stacks, working with data, and deploying AI or LLM tools.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Zapier or Make, API integrations, Salesforce, Stripe or Chargebee, and NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of deal desks, pricing models, billing schedules, commercial contracts, and equity compensation economics.
• Ability to work autonomously, execute from scratch, and eventually lead direct reports.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment banking or management consulting followed by operational experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
