Director, Finance & Corporate Services (Finance/Corporate Operations): Leading financial strategy, governance, and integrated corporate services for a global marine technology business with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, reporting integrity, risk management, and operational scaling. Focus on advising executive leadership, optimizing capital allocation and ERP systems, and improving cross-functional infrastructure across finance, technology, facilities, HR, and supply chain.
Location: Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada
Salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do
- Advise the Country Manager and Leadership Team on business strategy, investment decisions, operational performance, and risk management.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range financial planning, KPI development, financial modeling, and strategic analytics.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, compliance, audits, and tax filings.
- Prepare financial statements and strategic updates for executive leadership, global stakeholders, and the Board of Directors.
- Provide governance and operational oversight across corporate services, including IT, business systems, facilities, HR, and supply chain.
- Drive process improvement, change management, business continuity, health and safety, risk management, procurement controls, and working capital optimization.
Requirements
- Valid CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- 10+ years of progressive financial and accounting leadership experience, ideally in an international corporate, engineering, or technology environment.
- Experience leading multifunctional teams, advising executives, and overseeing shared corporate services.
- Demonstrated success in organizational change, process improvement, and cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into strategy for executives and Boards.
- Experience optimizing ERP enterprise systems and using advanced data tools to improve business efficiency.
