Controlling & Inventory Finance Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Preferred locations are Toronto, Canada; Little Island, Cork, Ireland; Puebla, Mexico; Antwerp, Belgium; Titusville, New Jersey, United States; and Zug, Switzerland. Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Salary: $94,000–$162,150 per year.

What you will do

• Represent Finance in cross-functional discussions covering Controlling and Inventory, particularly MAKE and R&D processes.
• Support the global finance transformation initiative and the design, build, and deployment of an ERP-based global template.
• Capture business requirements and collaborate with Global Process Owners, Technical Product Owners, System Integrators, and transformation teams.
• Document future-state processes and support their configuration and development in SAP S/4HANA.
• Participate in build demonstrations, data validation, testing cycles, deployment, and hypercare.
• Manage interdependencies with related transformation programs and help ensure that business requirements are met.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Finance or Economics.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in supply chain, a principal company environment, or R&D.
• Experience with process development and improvement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to balance strategic perspective with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and support adoption of new processes and technology.
• Experience with Costing, Inventory, and Plant Accounting is an asset.

Nice to have

• Expert knowledge of the SAP ERP platform.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of digital tools such as Power Query and Power BI.
• Experience working in global or virtual environments.
