What you will do

• Assist with inorganic, organic, and polymer material and chemical screening, characterization, and metrology.
• Safely handle different chemicals and conduct material and chemical testing and analysis.
• Lead small development projects involving characterization, screening, and quality control.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records.
• Support process engineers with material and chemical needs.

Requirements

• Be physically available in Santa Clara, California, for six months.
• Pursue a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer science, or a related field.
• Maintain good academic standing with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Learn quickly and work safely with chemicals.

Nice to have

• Experience with materials characterization or analytical chemistry.
