Analytical Chemist II

Location: On-site in Golden, Colorado, United States. The site and role are tentatively scheduled to relocate to Boulder, Colorado, in Q2/Q3 2027.

Salary: $72,500–$90,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manufacture products and perform analytical verification, data review, and full lot folder review.
• Develop, validate, and implement analytical procedures for existing and newly developed products.
• Improve work procedures, SOPs, productivity, product quality, and laboratory safety using hirify.global Business System tools.
• Cross-train colleagues on manufacturing and analytical verification procedures.
• Apply the quality system and support internal and external quality audits.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation and serve as a technical resource.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 3 years of analytical laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of chemical characteristics and standard methods for analyzing environmental samples.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance and quality control principles and practices.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems, data management, and data processing.
• Strong time management and laboratory safety skills; ability to work with hazardous materials and wear required PPE.

Nice to have

• Instrumental experience with HPLC, LC-MS, GC-FID, or GC-MS.
• Experience with PFAS and analytical method development.
• Advanced Excel formulas and mathematical or statistical calculations.
