Development Manager (Data Centers)

What you will do

• Support data center sites from acquisition through delivery in collaboration with capital projects, asset management, and operations.
• Coordinate and develop business plans for new developments.
• Work with joint venture partners to develop projects from initial relationships through execution.
• Prepare project, monthly, quarterly, and board-level reports.
• Support due diligence across projects and opportunities in the AMER portfolio.
• Coordinate with finance and asset management to ensure accurate reporting of project metrics and proactively manage development risks.

Requirements

• Experience in data center or mission-critical real estate development, including taking sites from acquisition to delivery.
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of data center operations, construction, technical due diligence, and risk assessment.
• Ability to understand real estate financial modeling and key performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of planning and permitting processes, preferably at a pan-European level.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience; an undergraduate degree in engineering, real estate, commercial, or surveying disciplines is desired.
