Project Engineer II (Tech)

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $70,996.81–$123,449.67 annually. A separate listing amount of $5,000 is also stated.

What you will do

• Support customer program management in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Prepare management plans, reports, briefing packages, presentations, operating procedures, memoranda, and other technical documentation.
• Track action items, requirements, projects, initiatives, schedules, meeting minutes, and program review activities.
• Facilitate meetings, information sessions, Technical Exchange Meetings, and workflow documentation sessions with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Coordinate travel, itineraries, passports, visas, personnel check-in and check-out, training, appointments, floor space, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with engineers, analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, managers, government agencies, and customer organizations to resolve roadblocks.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Two to four years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or zero to two years with a master’s degree.
• Experience facilitating groups, capturing workflows, coordinating project schedules, and supporting program management reviews.
• Strong communication skills and experience communicating with executive audiences and working in customer environments.
• Ability to prepare technical documents, collect and evaluate information, and publish statistical data.

Nice to have

• Five years of experience.
• One year of experience in the Intelligence Community.
• Experience coordinating with technical specialists and senior managers on program planning.
• Critical-thinking skills for evaluating alternative solutions and approaches.
