Training Intern (Animation)

Location: Glendale, California, United States. Hybrid schedule with in-person work Tuesday–Thursday and at least three office days per week; the company may increase this requirement to four days per week.

Salary: $18.47 per hour.

hirify.global Animation produces animated films and series and provides interns with hands-on exposure to TV and feature productions.

What you will do

• Learn the Training Department’s workflow across TV, Overhead, and Feature departments, including Animation, Effects, Surfacing, and Matte Painting.
• Supervise virtual, hybrid, and onsite classes, track attendance, enter data, and maintain Excel databases.
• Record training classes using screen-capture software and edit recordings in Adobe Premiere.
• Handle administrative tasks and design posters promoting training classes.
• Attend training sessions and meet artists from different departments to learn about the animation pipeline and production software.

Requirements

• Experience collecting and prioritizing data in Excel.
• Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere or similar software.
• Basic design skills with Photoshop or similar software.
• Strong problem-solving, time-management, attention-to-detail, communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Currently pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree, or graduated within the past six months; must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, California, provide personal relocation, housing, and transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
