Training Coordinator (Coffee)

Location: New York City, US, with frequent travel to stores across New York, Washington, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and other markets.

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Oversee, validate, and track each barista’s progress through the new-hire training program.
• Lead group orientations, in-store training, and final barista assessments.
• Provide shift-lead certification support and assist with new product launches and key initiatives.
• Track training completion, accreditation velocity, daily store performance, and compliance across multiple platforms.
• Conduct quarterly product quality assessments across Boston, DC, and New York stores and create actionable reporting for field leaders.
• Build cross-functional relationships and develop creative approaches to strengthen learning, engagement, and product quality.

Requirements

• Strong coffee knowledge and expertise.
• Experience delivering training within an established brand.
• Ability to create detailed training content and action plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
• Full-time availability for 50 hours per week across five days, including flexibility outside store operating hours and on weekends.
