Account Management Lead (EMI)

Location: Onsite in the Riga office, Latvia

Salary: €3,700–€4,000 net per month

Payment service provider specializing in card acquiring, payment processing, payouts, money remittance, and risk management for online and in-store merchants.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support a team of four Account Managers.
• Set priorities, performance expectations, KPIs, workloads, and development goals.
• Oversee merchant relationships and ensure responsive issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technical teams on merchant matters.
• Act as the escalation point for complex client issues and identify account growth opportunities.
• Improve account management processes and track performance, satisfaction, and retention.

Requirements

• 5+ years of merchant account management experience in the payments industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in card acquiring.
• Direct experience managing an Account Management team, including KPI setting, workload allocation, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing, settlements, refunds, chargebacks, and merchant escalations.
• Strong understanding of the merchant payment lifecycle and the roles of acquirers, PSPs, and payment processors.
• English at B2–C1 level, fluent Russian, and availability to work from the Riga office.
