Business Operations Manager

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA; an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub may be required at the offer stage.

Salary: $130,000–$179,000 annual salary for Bay Area-based hires; compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do

• Analyze complex business problems, identify root causes and drivers, and translate data into actionable insights and repeatable processes.
• Lead projects from scoping and solution design through code execution, quality assurance, operationalization, and enablement.
• Use AI technologies, hirify.global OS, and the Developer Platform to prototype and improve business operations.
• Synthesize findings for relevant audiences to support alignment and strategic decision-making.
• Assess financial impact, develop forecasts for new metrics, and identify risk-mitigation approaches.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, Finance, and executive leadership on KPI reporting and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Consulting, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a Data Science master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High proficiency in building complex, thoughtful, and auditable business models.
• High proficiency in SQL or AI-assisted coding.
• Advanced or working English proficiency is mandatory in written and verbal communication.

• Master’s degree in Data Science or an MBA.
