Registered Nurse-Medical Surgical Full-Time Days (Medical-Surgical Nursing)

Location: 1302 N. Main St., Sandwich, Illinois, United States; full-time day shift

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Assess assigned patients’ physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Develop, update, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, provide pain management, and deliver patient and family education.
• Monitor diagnostic data, treatment responses, and changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate nursing interventions.
• Coordinate communication with physicians, healthcare providers, hospital departments, and community agencies.
• Support discharge planning, care conferences, accurate documentation, and evaluation of care quality.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. An ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills are preferred.
• Must work onsite in Sandwich, Illinois, on the day shift.
