Registered Nurse - Primary Care

Location: Onsite in Elko, Nevada. Full-time schedule is 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, plus one weekend per month on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am–2:00pm.

Salary: $30.40–$38.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess patient needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners on further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document EKGs, audiometry, spirometry, vision screenings, and other medical tests.
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical equipment, patient health records, infection control, and a clean, safe care environment.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree in nursing is required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or ambulatory care clinic.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required depending on the service contract.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
