Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Full Time (36 hours/week) - Nights (Healthcare)

Location: Ellensburg, Washington, USA; primarily night shifts, 36 hours per week

Wage: $44.70–$79.60 per hour, based on applicable experience. Shift differentials apply: evenings $3.00/hour, nights 12% of hourly base rate, and weekends $3.50/hour.

What you will do

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care and supervise professional and ancillary personnel.
• Assess patient and family education needs to support recovery and discharge.
• Coordinate nursing plans with medical plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Float to other hospital departments when patient needs require it.
• Participate in quality assurance and nursing process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current registered nurse license in the State of Washington required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification, with ongoing maintenance required.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire, with ongoing maintenance required.
• PALS certification within six months of hire, with ongoing maintenance required.
• One to two years of appropriate clinical experience, BSN, and PEARS are preferred.
