Registered Nurse - Walk-in Clinic

Location: Elko, Nevada, United States. Onsite role with rotating 4x10 shifts from 8am–7pm Monday–Thursday and Tuesday–Friday, plus one weekend per month from 8am–2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Salary: $30.40–$38.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners to coordinate further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision testing, screenings, and other treatments.
• Administer medications and emergency care within the legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical equipment, patient health records, infection-control procedures, and a clean, safe environment.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contract scope of services.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.

Nice to have

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a four-year college or university.
