Registered Nurse-Medical Surgical Part-Time Days

Location: 1302 N. Main St., Sandwich, Illinois, United States; part-time day shift

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Assess assigned patients across physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, developmental, and environmental needs.
• Develop, update, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, provide pain management, and document patient responses.
• Monitor diagnostic data and changes in patient condition, initiate appropriate interventions, and communicate updates to physicians and healthcare staff.
• Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and coordinate referrals and care activities.
• Document assessments, treatments, interventions, teaching outcomes, and quality-of-care evaluations accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
