Registered Nurse - Emergency Services - Per Diem

Location: 603 S Chestnut St, Ellensburg, Washington, USA

Salary: $44.70–$79.60 per hour, based on applicable experience. Shift differentials apply: $3.00/hour for evenings, 12% of base rate for nights, and $3.50/hour for weekends.

What you will do

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide direct emergency patient care and supervise professional and ancillary personnel.
• Assess patient and family education needs to support recovery and discharge planning.
• Coordinate nursing plans with medical plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Float to other hospital departments as patient needs require.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the State of Washington.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS within six months of hire and PALS or ENPC within six months of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire and Emergency Severity Index training within six months.
• Professionalism, leadership, continued development, and collaborative care skills.

Nice to have

• One to two years of clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Certified Emergency Nurse certification.
