Registered Nurse, RN - Endoscopy

Location: Tufts Medical Center, United States; onsite clinical role

Salary: $43.01–$70.95 per hour, based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate individualized care for adult patients throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Provide nursing care for colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and advanced interventional procedures including endoscopic ultrasound, ablation, enteroscopy, and cholangioscopy.
• Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, and assess patient responses according to professional and hospital standards.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, nursing colleagues, and other disciplines.
• Educate and advocate for patients and families while supporting safe, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory, performance improvement, and shared governance activities.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act compliance and current licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; an Associate degree may be considered by the Nursing Executive Council.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and manage unpredictable clinical and emergency situations.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on day/evening shifts, four or five shifts weekly, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
