EURODRONE Communication System Designer Engineer (Audio Communication)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model with 40% remote work when possible.

What you will do

• Design and integrate audio and voice communication systems for the EURODRONE platform.
• Support feasibility studies for new products and user needs.
• Define, allocate, and validate system requirements using requirement-based and model-based systems engineering.
• Prepare engineering design documentation and test requirements for laboratory, ground, and flight testing.
• Perform system integration, validation, verification, test analysis, and correlation reporting.
• Support design reviews, certification and qualification, technical publications, production, procurement, and other transversal activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Telecommunications or Aeronautical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in systems engineering or development for military aircraft in the aeronautical sector.
• More than 3 years of experience with audio and full-chain communication systems on military or combat aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering and integration, software specification, verification and validation, airworthiness, and audio technology.
• Experience with requirements definition using DOORS and CAMEO, MBSE tools, modification processes, and certification.
• Strong written and spoken English and availability for travel are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Audio or COMSEC communication systems.
• Experience as a CVE, including in another engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of hirify.global design procedures for EURODRONE and other programmes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, DeMAT, and Plateau ways of working.
