TL;DR
System Technical Coordinator, MRI Full-Time Days (MRI/Radiology): Coordinating MRI technical operations, staff training, clinical protocols, equipment performance, and radiation safety with an accent on technical competence, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care. Focus on developing imaging training programs, managing preventative maintenance and service issues, and improving departmental quality through data tracking and process improvement.

Location: 676 N. St. Clair, Chicago, Illinois, United States; full-time day shift

Salary: $54.06–$75.68 per hour

What you will do

  • Coordinate MRI and radiology technical operations, clinical protocols, daily staffing, and department functions.
  • Train technical and assistant personnel on clinical protocols, imaging techniques, patient care, and evolving radiology practices.
  • Design orientation, in-service education, and professional development programs for technical staff.
  • Monitor equipment performance, service records, preventative maintenance, quality management, and repair coordination.
  • Manage radiation safety activities and collaborate with physicists, radiologists, managers, and medical directors.
  • Support quality improvement, process improvement, policy development, product evaluation, supply coordination, and performance assessments.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology, radiography, or magnetic resonance education program.
  • Certification and registration with ARRT or ARMRIT in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Current CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Relevant clinical experience with strong leadership, planning, quality, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Chicago on a full-time day shift.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three or more years of experience.
