Location: Lowell General Hospital and the Saints campus in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States

Pay range: $44.17–$56.32 per hour, based on full-time equivalent. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for new external hires.

What you will do

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures according to hospital policies, radiological standards, and American College of Radiology imaging standards.
  • Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination steps.
  • Provide clear patient instructions and maintain patient and staff safety while operating radiologic equipment.
  • Perform equipment and device quality control, maintain supplies, and keep work areas compliant and functional.
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments and service lines, working independently when required.
  • Support ongoing education and training, including teaching students and new technologists when needed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in radiology or a related field.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification through NMTCB or ARRT.
  • Eligibility for a state Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
  • Two years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Knowledge of radiologic equipment, nuclear medicine examinations, radiation safety protocols, and patient communication.
