MRI Technologist (MRI)

Location: Onsite at the Chicago clinic; applicants must live within a 45-minute commuting distance and be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Operate MRI scanners while maintaining patient safety, scan quality, and current hirify.global scan protocols.
• Complete patient examinations, including advanced MR studies, and critically assess image quality.
• Prepare scan rooms, clean equipment, and order supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the relevant department.
• Use PACS and other software systems to transfer and post-process images.
• Train new technologists in patient safety, room preparation, communication, image acquisition, time management, and post processing.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical work experience and a strong foundation in MRI imaging and patient safety.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) licensure, or an equivalent credential appropriate to the role location.
• BLS certification and completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program.
• Ability to independently and accurately complete MRI examinations and advanced MR studies.
• Strong patient-care, interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and customer-service skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship is required.
