Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role

Salary: $44.17–$56.32 per hour; $15,000 sign-on bonus for new external hires

What you will do

• Perform interventional radiology procedures independently according to department policies, radiological standards, and ACR imaging standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and required examination steps.
• Operate imaging modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and related radiologic equipment.
• Provide clear patient instructions and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other departments.
• Maintain patient and staff safety, perform equipment quality control, and keep work areas compliant and functional.
• Maintain supplies, participate in education and training, and support students and new technologists.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification.
• Eligible for a state radiologic technologist license.
• Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, organize priorities, and handle frequent standing, walking, and lifting 30–35 pounds.
