Early Career AOCS Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, with reporting to the avionics engineering department in Madrid; hybrid working is available when possible.

What you will do

• Design, implement, verify, and validate AOCS/GNC systems across mission Phases 0 to E.
• Work on flight algorithms and flight hardware within avionics engineering projects.
• Produce design justifications, software requirements, and performance analysis documentation.
• Develop prototype-level software and non-real-time or real-time simulators using Matlab and Simulink, with occasional C and Python development.
• Support reviews and workshops with customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with electrical, thermal, and mechanical engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in an aerospace discipline.
• Academic or project experience involving dynamics, filtering, estimation, or control engineering.
• Experience participating in a GNC/AOCS project during its development or validation cycle.
• Experience with Matlab and Simulink.
• Ability to work in the Getafe/Madrid area.

Nice to have

• Previous Airbus traineeship or other collaboration with Airbus.
• Interest in developing across additional avionics engineering areas.
