Senior Systems Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid role requiring regular in-office presence with the client team

Minimum base compensation: $125,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage and maintain a combined Jira backlog across Platform Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Architecture pods.
• Lead or support backlog refinement, clarify scope and acceptance criteria, and prepare actionable work items for engineers.
• Track cross-pod dependencies, integration points, risks, blockers, open questions, and follow-ups through resolution.
• Build a working understanding of each pod’s technical work and route detailed questions to the appropriate engineers.
• Work closely with the Product Owner, engineering leads, engineers, stakeholders, and pilot teams to gather context and move decisions forward.
• Support delivery ceremonies, decision-making, status reporting, and proactive risk communication.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, backlog management, or delivery coordination within software engineering teams.
• Strong Jira skills and hands-on agile refinement experience across multiple workstreams.
• Experience working with several technical teams while shifting context quickly and maintaining clarity on their work.
• Technical fluency in platform, quality, and architecture work, with the ability to follow technical discussions and capture decisions.
• Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and proactive consultant skills.
• Local to Atlanta and able to work in person with the client team regularly.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform engineering, quality engineering, architecture, or developer-tooling teams.
• Exposure to test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, load testing, or internal developer platforms.
• Computer science or related technical education, training, or certification.
• Consulting or client services experience with trusted-advisor responsibilities.
