IT Functional Analyst - Laboratory Operations & Digital Solutions (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $115,000–$158,500 per year.

What you will do

• Support business-critical laboratory applications, digital solutions, operational workflows, and service requests.
• Gather and translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process documentation, and training materials.
• Coordinate system enhancements, UAT, deployments, incident resolution, and post-implementation support with technical teams and vendors.
• Support mobile devices, tablets, barcode scanners, printers, peripherals, and endpoint lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate equipment connectivity, system integrations, data flows, and automation-related testing.
• Support access management, security controls, audit readiness, compliance remediation, and global operational reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Application Analyst, or IT Operations Analyst.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, operational systems, requirements analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Onsite role in Santa Clara, California, United States; relocation is not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor labs, engineering labs, R&D environments, or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Agile methodologies, and ITIL-based support processes.
• Experience with user access management, security controls, compliance, equipment connectivity, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud application platforms, mobile devices, barcode technologies, printers, scanners, and digital transformation initiatives.
