Commercial Contract Manager

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, competitive bid events, bid packages, and supplier selection recommendations for the Blue Point Project.
• Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate cross-functional teams to manage supplier, contractual, financial, operational, and schedule-related risks.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including contract administration, correspondence, change orders, claims avoidance, dispute resolution, purchase orders, and contract releases.
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance against contractual obligations, cost, delivery schedules, technical requirements, compliance, and project objectives.
• Lead supplier onboarding, qualification, transition, mobilization, insurance and compliance monitoring, and performance management.
• Partner with legal counsel, engineering, project management, construction, and senior project leadership to support project execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Six or more years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, project management, commercial management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, construction management, law, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, competitive bidding, contract development, negotiation, supplier performance management, and risk management.
• Knowledge of contract law fundamentals, contractual risk allocation, claims management, dispute resolution, and protections used in engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
• Experience with petrochemical, chemical, energy, or heavy industrial facility construction and operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Ariba, enterprise procurement and contract management systems, Microsoft Office, and project collaboration tools.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPSM, PMP, CCM, or an equivalent credential.
