Strategic Sourcing Commodity Manager - MRO

Location: Fremont, California, or San Jose, California; based at a hirify.global US site

Salary: $106,600–$142,100 per year

What you will do

• Develop MRO category strategies for local operations aligned with global sourcing strategies and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead supplier identification, qualification, RFP/RFQ processes, proposal evaluation, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate master agreements, statements of work, change orders, pricing, and other procurement terms.
• Analyze total cost, ROI, pricing, rates, and market conditions for MRO services and equipment.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, scorecards, risks, disputes, and improvement initiatives.
• Improve sourcing and contract lifecycle processes and provide management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in MRO services.
• Experience negotiating and formulating MRO services contracts, cost models, pricing structures, contractual risks, intellectual property, and legal requirements.
• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Subject matter expertise in sourcing and contracting tools such as Oracle and other supply chain tools.
• Professional English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Business or Engineering.
• PMP, CPSM, or CPCM certification.
• Experience supporting global initiatives in a multinational company.
