C-sUAS Trainer

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations for up to 6 weeks, typically 1–2 weeks

What you will do

• Develop and review Program of Instruction and Training Support Package materials.
• Review technical manuals and training materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Deliver formal classroom and hands-on instruction for fielded C-sUAS systems.
• Evaluate student understanding and operational capability through practical exercises.
• Conduct site surveys, data collection, system installation support, New Equipment Fielding, and New Equipment Training activities.
• Brief teams and program managers, plan resources and facilities, and conduct after-action reviews.

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance with a current investigation and ability to maintain clearance requirements.
• Current U.S. passport.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with DoD Air and Missile Defense systems or related complex DoD weapon system-of-systems capabilities.
• Experience with command-and-control operations, technical documentation, presentations, training aids, formal instruction, and student evaluations.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and perform independently with minimal oversight.

Nice to have

• Military or equivalent instructor certification.
• Formal instructor course certification.
• Experience with C-sUAS operations, kinetic C-sUAS technologies, radar operations, and DoD C-sUAS system-of-systems capabilities.
