TL;DR
Collective Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) (Military Intelligence): Developing, coordinating, executing, and assessing collective training programs for Army Reserve Intelligence forces with an accent on intelligence readiness, exercise planning, and integration across GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, All-Source Intelligence, and Counterintelligence. Focus on analyzing training plans, designing scenarios and evaluation criteria, coordinating training resources, and conducting after-action reviews to improve operational readiness.

Location: Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States; on-site. Up to 30% travel may be required throughout the United States and OCONUS.

Salary: $86,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Review collective training plans from Geographic and Functional Commands for alignment with Army doctrine, policies, training strategies, and readiness requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and assess collective training exercises for Army Reserve Intelligence forces.
  • Develop exercise plans, scenarios, training objectives, evaluation criteria, and assessment methodologies.
  • Integrate GEOINT, All-Source Intelligence, SIGINT, HUMINT, and Counterintelligence functions into training events.
  • Coordinate subject matter experts, role players, facilitators, facilities, equipment, transportation, lodging, and other training resources.
  • Conduct after-action reviews, analyze outcomes, and prepare findings and recommendations to improve intelligence readiness.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of military experience, training, and education.
  • At least five years of experience supporting military intelligence training, readiness, or operations.
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and executing collective training exercises within military organizations.
  • Knowledge of Army training doctrine, training management processes, and readiness reporting requirements.
  • Experience in one or more intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, All-Source Intelligence, or Counterintelligence.

Nice to have

  • Graduate of Military Intelligence professional military education courses.
  • Experience supporting Army Reserve or National Guard intelligence organizations.
  • Experience with ATMS, DTMS, or similar training management platforms.
  • Certified military instructor, facilitator, or trainer credentials.
  • Experience supporting intelligence readiness, mobilization, or collective training at brigade level or higher.
