Senior Workers' Compensation Subrogation Claims Rep

What you will do

• Investigate assigned workers' compensation, property, homeowner, auto, and general liability subrogation claims, including complex and high-exposure cases.
• Analyze loss details, policy language, liability, damages, and recovery potential; determine appropriate investigation and resolution strategies.
• Resolve claims through negotiation, settlement, arbitration, mediation, and litigation while securing releases and processing recoveries.
• Document claim files accurately, manage follow-up through diary systems, and communicate with insureds, claimants, agents, underwriters, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with adjusters, counsel, and experts to preserve evidence, manage litigation, and achieve recovery outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations, including statutes of limitations and repose.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of claims handling and subrogation practices.
• Strong damage and liability evaluation, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Intercompany Arbitration rules and the ability to formulate effective contentions.
• Understanding of policy language and endorsements related to workers' compensation, auto, general liability, homeowners, and property claims.
• 3–5 years of claims experience preferred, including 2+ years of subrogation experience preferred.
• Valid state adjuster licenses required. A college degree is preferred.
