Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster III

Location: Remote; periodic travel may be required

Salary: $66,500–$92,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Investigate and manage complex bodily injury, litigation, uninsured motorist, underinsured motorist, and other high-exposure claims.
• Verify coverage, determine liability, evaluate damages, analyze medical documentation, and support fair claim resolutions.
• Manage injury litigation from assignment through resolution, including mediation and arbitration submissions.
• Partner with defense counsel and legal professionals to develop claim strategies and negotiate settlements.
• Maintain proactive communication with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Serve as a technical resource, mentor less experienced claim professionals, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of bodily injury claims experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex bodily injury and litigation claims, including UM and UIM claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage, liability, medical terminology, and bodily injury evaluation.
• Experience preparing and managing mediation and arbitration submissions.
• Strong analytical, investigation, negotiation, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses.
