Student Government Advisor

Location: Bangor, Maine, USA

Salary: USD 45,000–48,000 per year

What you will do

• Facilitate student leadership classes and provide guidance on leadership opportunities and responsibilities.
• Coordinate Dorm Court, student focus groups, and the semi-annual Student Satisfaction Survey.
• Organize evening student activities, including tutoring in the dorms.
• Support student participation in community service activities with the Business Community Liaison.
• Assist residential staff with dorm coverage during breaks and lunch periods.
• Collaborate with Career Counseling and Career Training departments on leadership training and activities for non-residential students.

Requirements

• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Ability to support students with a helpful, responsible, and concerned attitude.
